About the job

As the Change Management Specialist you provide critical support to our organization as Arc’teryx accelerates growth and undergoes business transformation.  This role will develop and implement change management strategies and plans to meet our objectives, by maximizing staff enablement and minimizing resistance.  You will also focus on the people side of our business changes, as we evolve our business processes, systems, and organizational structures.      Key responsibilities and accountabilities:! You drive change management initiatives across multiple business areas! You collaborate with business leaders and guide them to develop change management activities! You ensure change management activities are integrated into project plans and lead in their implementation! You assess change impact by identifying stakeholders, determining change readiness, and conducting analyses! You recommend organizational change solutions, and the interdependencies and timing of change initiatives across the organization through analysis! You determine training needs and support the design and delivery of training programs in relation to projects! You support the creation and delivery of communications in relation to projects and change initiatives! You identify and determine strategies to manage resistance ! You support business leaders in the design and definition of organizational structures and the roles within them! You coach, support, and engage change sponsors, agents, and champions! You define metrics that can be used to measure success and track change progress ! You evaluate individual and organizational readiness! You leverage internal resources and support across the organization to enable change while also ensuring alignment to the organization’s strategic objectives and goalsAdditional experience, education and/or skills (Required):! You ideally have 5+ years relevant experience in a business environment, additionally you must have 2-3 years of experience in a change management role and preferably in large-scale organizational change! You have relevant post-secondary education along with a certification from a recognized Change Management program! You have proven experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, and how to phase these in different Project Management stages! You have a strong familiarity with Agile methodology! You have a deep understanding of how individuals experience change, and the change process! You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with an exceptional ability to tailor communications to a wide variety of audiences! You possess the ability to influence and motivate others to move towards a common goal ! You have the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels within an organization! You possess the ability to step in and determine actions and next steps with minimum instruction! You have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines! You have a strong business acumen and an understanding of organizational challenges! You have strong presentation and speaking skills! You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions! You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity! You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration! You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement! You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right!
