Financial Analyst Job in North Vancouver, BC

Job purpose: As the Financial Analyst, you are responsible for the preparation of financial reports, and helping to ensure the integrity of financial information used across the business. You will also assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic business plans.Key responsibilities and accountabilities: ! You prepare head office operating expense reports, including variance analysis and insights! You collaborate with department managers to understand expense variances and determine actions! You assist with the preparation of the monthly Arc’teryx Rock Solid performance report! You assist with the development of financial reporting packages for regions and channels! You support the completion of budgets, forecasts and strategic business plans! You review and investigate accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and data integrity! You assist the corporate finance team with invoice coding and other accounting transactions! You assist with design and maintenance of accounting, budgeting and reporting systems! You prepare financial information for global performance reviews as needed! You provide financial expertise and guidance to business leaders as needed! You support the SAP project as neededAdditional experience, education and/or skills:! You have 3+ years proven experience in an Accounting, Financial Analyst, or equivalent role ! You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. A professional accounting designation or progress toward accounting designation is preferred  ! You have exceptional attention to detail! You have advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for MS Excel and data analysis tools! You are highly proficient in accounting systems and business intelligence (BI) tools! You are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines! You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are able to collaborate with individuals across departments, organizations, and countries! You are able to coordinate and lead projects to completion! You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions! You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity! You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration! You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement!
