The Visual Merchandise Leader helps the rest of the store team to provide the highest level of customer experience possible, while implementing visual merchandising guidelines.KEY TASKS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:Key Tasks! Deliver the brand experience and elevate customer care to be best in class! Qualify and assess what will truly benefit the customer based on their needs. Make customers for life, not just a sale! Promote team spirit and brand advocacy! Maintain a strong understanding & descriptions of current product! Work with the Visual Merchandising team to submit Visual Merchandising (VM) reports and pictures on a rolling calendar, and notifying them of any broken or damaged VM materials or fixtures! Receive feedback and make adjustments as needed to drive sale and improve visual impact! Be THE key driver of season change over within the timeframes given! Travel to new store openings and assist with merchandising of the new shop! Participate in staff training and store events as required! Maintain knowledge of current store stock availability on the sales floor and in backrooms! Actively maintain store appearance, keeping merchandise stocked and organized, while ensuring that the store itself is clean and well presented! Operate POS system and process sales transactions! Assist with inventory counts when required! Assist with re-stocking and pricing duties, including sale preparation as requiredLeadership and Development! Maintain an open and positive relationship with store management team! Be a collaborative, dependable, and respectful role model; communicate positively regarding store management and company strategies! Ensure company/store policies and procedures are communicated in a timely manner and adhered to accordingly! Efficiently manage the sales floor when management team is absent! Maintain positive employee attitude and morale by recognizing strong performance and service! Assist with new hire training.! Participate and encourage all staff to participate in store events! Delegate daily tasks appropriately and effectivelyOperations! Responsible for opening and closing the store and securing all store assets! Maintain store security including building security and cash handling! Communicate with customers on warranties, damaged and defective goods in a timely and accurate manner! Protect company assets by following and loss prevention procedures and ensure that staff are trained appropriatelyMarketing Events ! Work in conjunction with Community Marketing Leader to execute store events which support the company mission and increase community involvement! Encourage all staff to participate in planning and attending events both in the store and offsite! Ensure that the store is utilizing local social media in alignment with company expectationsLegal Compliance! Ensure that the store is in compliance with all Provincial and Federal laws, including wage and hours, human rights and equal employment opportunities! Maintain safe working conditions for employees and customers! Resolve safety concerns quickly! Ensure store security from internal and external theft and know proper apprehension and prosecution procedures for your state and per the company guidelinesOther Job Functions! Perform additional duties as assigned by the Assistant and Store ManagerMinimum job qualifications! 1-3 years visual merchandising experience! Knowledge of Amer Sports products or outdoor equipment and outerwear! Previous retail or customer service experience! Participation or an interest in activities we make products for! Strong command of spoken English! Willing to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events ! Ability to travel!
