About the job

You are the catalyst for using 3D software in product design. You advocate for digital use by creating design processes, best practices and with the building of 3D libraries. You create an opportunity to partner and build relationships with designers and cross functional teams. You are an innovative problem solver with a focus on collaborative team work. You Do Right through responsible and sustainable design.Please note this is a temporary position with a duration of six months, with the possibility of extension.Key responsibilities and accountabilities: ! You support the digitization of physical assets and digital asset management (materials, trims, product) Maintain 3D library for Materials and trim assets! You support the Design and Development team’s digitalization capabilities by providing advanced 3D design, visualization and prototyping tools and training! You are a key resource for CLO3D across the design floor, leading the onboarding of new users and sharing of best practices ! You create checkpoints throughout asset creation process to ensure asset compliance and sign off by appropriate partner! You discover, evaluate and share other advanced digital creation technologies that support design and company objectives! You support the implementation of CLO3D within the apparel product design and development workflow! You support the continual evolution and upkeep of 3D block library ! You support the maintenance of 3D Avatars for development and marketing use ! You apply surface design details including material textures, trims to 3D renderings and support in revisions as needed! You help identify opportunities to reduce sampling through the use of 3D technologyAdditional experience, education and/or skills required:! You have a degree/diploma in design, graphic arts, or similar, with 3+ years’ experience in the application of 3D creation technologies (ideally in a technical apparel design environment)! You are technically proficient with various technologies: Adobe Creative Suite, Gerber, Substance Designer, Modo! You have an understanding of the design and development process! You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with an unwavering commitment to do what is right! You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity! You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration! You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement!
