Meet Your Future Team:Reporting to the CRO, you’ll partner with our VP, Retail Excellence, VP, Product and Merchandising and the People and Culture team across our local and regional teams to achieve our retail targets and KPI’s.Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:• As a natural people developer, you’ll drive the training strategy and execution, and the growth of our future people leaders creating a pipeline of top store talent. • As we shift vertically, you are accountable for P & L and the daily performance of our stores fueling the growth of the North America epicenter fleet. • You are responsible for driving the revenue and physical store count within our targeted epicenters by building tailored store plans and objectives specific to each market.• Location scouting, real estate portfolio management, portfolio expansion, lease agreements and new store opening functions will require hands on leadership as we navigate new communities throughout North America. • You guide our stores through innovative product merchandising and allocations/replenishment processes to drive sales and increase store productivity.• You will lead and inspire the growth of our community partnership programs in new and existing regions.• In collaboration with our Omni Channel teams you will execute on the North American Initiatives. If you were in this role now, here’s what you would be doing:• Each store will require a continued review of key Initiatives, investments and annual objectives related to budgets and strategic planning under your navigation.• You will champion the conversation around new store locations and the continued evolution of the new store opening processes.• You will oversee the identification of high performing talent, developing talent and building a pipeline of future leaders through workforce planning tools and proactive partnership with the recruitment team.• In partnership with the training team you’ll execute on training programs to support a world class retail experience for our consumer.• You’ll influence and steer a culture of high performance and accountability grounded in Arc’teryx’s purpose and values. • You’ll lead the execution of the ‘store of the future’ initiatives and improvements. In 12 – 18 months from now, you will be working through:• Exceeding our annual sales and growth targets by seamless execution of our vertical strategy in North America through 2024. • Acceleration and implementation of our people leadership and store opening best practices globally.• You’ll have created a pipeline of high performing leaders ready to take on what the future of Arc’teryx holds.• You’ll have built a mature community market plan and ‘Do Right’ initiatives that have set the standard for future brands. Are you this person?• You bring an unparalleled expertise of US real estate, understand the nuances, opportunities and know the barriers to entry in each major centre.• You have previous experience leading a global vertical apparel organization through rapid successful growth with proven results and a deep understanding of omni-channel.• You have 10 years’ experience leading cross-functional and integrated retail teams in a global apparel company.• You have a strong awareness of the Arc’teryx brand, product, and consumer.• You have a deep understanding of the outdoor apparel and lifestyle industry and you understand the retail and digital landscape including the latest trends and innovations.• You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions through your growth mindset.• You seek the best (not necessarily the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right.• You inspire breakthrough thinking and strive for continuous improvement.• You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.• Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it.Apply for this job
