As Pattern Maker 2 – LEAF, you work in the LEAF Integrated Product Team to advance and evolve design intent into production-ready patterns.  You ensure that patterns meet and reflect Arc’teryx quality, fit and construction standards.Key responsibilities and accountabilities:! You interpret design intent and create patterns for each stage of development, ensuring efficient construction methods pair with Arc’teryx standards.! You develop and maintain accurate finished garment measurement specifications and maintain accurate pattern lists, templates and applicable construction notes in specs.! You work with Design to establish fit for each product category end use, maintaining consistency throughout the product line.! You collaborate with Design, Product Development and Sample Sewing to establish and document product construction standards and illustrated technical specifications.! You maintain pattern libraries and measurement specifications, ensuring comprehensive documentation, communication and collaboration with the LEAF Integrated Product Team, Pattern and Fit team, Marker Makers and additional departments as necessary.! You facilitate accurate raw material yields through stages of product development.! You support and report Integrated Product Team metrics for timeline, cost and product solutions that meet operational needs.! You partner and support the Sr. Product Developer – LEAF by assisting with special projects (to include SMU) as assigned.! You contribute to the creation and use of the block pattern library and assist grading and marker making teams when necessary.! You participate in organized training programs.Additional experience, education and/or skills required:! You have a relevant post-secondary education and 3+ years’ production pattern making experience! You have the ability to work from pattern blocks or from sketches! You have an excellent knowledge of garment construction! You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office! You have effective English oral and written communications skills! You have an excellent attention to detail, including accurate data entry skills! You have strong interpersonal skills! You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with an unwavering commitment to do what is right! You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity! You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration! You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement!
