As the Senior Financial Analyst you will support direct to consumer strategy through business performance analysis and reporting. Your insights will help to translate strategy into behaviors which will drive sales and improve profit. You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain systems used in the financial planning process and will lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and strategic business plans.Meet Your Future TeamThe Financial Planning & Analysis team at Arc’teryx is responsible for providing leadership with the information they need to review past performance, understand business trends, and anticipate future profitability and financial position. Through review of historic financials, variance analysis and KPI tracking, FP&A advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement.If you were the Senior Financial Analyst – Retail FP&A now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:! Perform in-depth analysis and reporting to drive ecommerce sales and profit contribution! Collaborate with the ecommerce team to review sales metrics and other key performance indicators! Prepare monthly margin forecasting aligned with the marketing campaign calendar! Be a strategic partner to retail teams with a focus on Europe! Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for our European retail! Contribute to weekly sales reviews with insightful and relevant commentary on European retail performance vs targets! Ensure business case accuracy for proposed new European retail locations! Deliver supporting analysis and materials for monthly and quarterly business reviews! Responsible for loading forecasts into planning systems! Support the completion of budgets, forecasts, and strategic business plans! Support the development of financial reporting and key indicators of retail and eCommerce performance! Provide financial expertise and guidance to business leaders as neededHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:! Become the primary expert and key strategic financial advisor to our ecommerce and European retail teams! Lead the development of multi-year business growth and investment plans, using a detailed drivers-based approach! Work with business leaders to build out a retail growth plan inline with Arc’teryx’s broader company strategy, along with business case reviews for new European Retail locationsAre you our next Senior Financial Analyst – Retail FP&A?! You have 5+ years of experience as a finance leader within the retail industry! You have a university degree in Commerce or related, coupled with CPA designation! You have experience presenting to senior leadership level audience! You have advanced analytical skills with the ability to drive insights from data ! You are highly proficient in accounting systems and business intelligence (BI) tools! You ideally have experience with SAP FICO, Hyperion, and Power BI, along with experience in multi-platform, multi-currency environments! You can prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines! You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can collaborate with individuals across departments, organizations, and countries! You can coordinate and lead projects to completion!
