Department: US CommercialReports to: National Account Manager Location: Seattle, WashingtonYour Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:The Sales Development Analyst will work directly with internal cross-functional teammates and stakeholders on some of our biggest strategic account teams, including REI, to analyze sales trends and inventory levels to forecast, and drive sales in harmony with our national account strategy. You will understand the inner workings of both our business and that of REI, and your insights will highlight new opportunities for everything from what the Arc’teryx guest is seeking to how we work internally and with REI and other account teams. The dynamic, cross-functional and revenue driving nature of this role will expose you to the full spectrum of what it takes to sell Arc’teryx successfully and should lend insights to everything from demand planning, to sales, to marketing. Meet Your Future Team:The US Commercial team is accountable for delivering sales through all local channels. We meet the guest where they are shopping and ensure Arc’teryx is represented consistently and at its best. As the retail landscape evolves, we will work together to evolve our approach with creativity and teamwork.If you were the Sales Development Analyst now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:• Analyze, identify, and pursue areas to drive sales with strategic accounts including REI, resulting in increased brand awareness, market share, and full price sell through with a consultative approach• Support the strategic business planning and forecasting processes through analysis and insights of both our business and the competitive landscape• Build incredible relationships with both internal and strategic account teams to assist in managing the flow of goods through the supply chain• Generate and analyze point-of-sale reporting tools for REI and other strategic accounts, and communicate actionable trends and sales opportunities to the larger account teamHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:• As you gain a deep understanding of the business at the most foundational level, you’ll be able to help steer the evolving national account strategy• You will help advance our forecasting, demand planning, and buying processes and strategies, ensuring the right products show up at the right time, in the right amounts with incredible sell through• Your insights will help track how our products navigate their entire lifecycle and could help build future strategies on how our brand comes to life at key national accountsAre you our next Sales Development Analyst?• You have a bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field• You have at least 3 years experience in a sales environment• You have a strong ability to see the pattern in a mass of data, and to turn it into a cohesive picture• You have strong communication skills and can tell someone a compelling story about even the driest subjects• You have a record of curiosity and collaboration • You have excellent organizational skills and enjoy building the plan you will then implement• You are proficient in Microsoft Office• You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions• You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity• You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration• You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with unwavering commitment• Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living itArc’teryx is committed to actively creating and fostering a culture of inclusivity where voices are heard, people are seen, and values are respected.
