Meet Your Future Team:Partnering closely with the Assistant and Store Manager to provide store leadership for a talented and dedicated team, the Operations Lead also owns all operational tasks for the store. You love to keep things organized and to ensure processes are being followed and have fun while doing so; because of this, others are eager to join you and follow your lead. You elevate guest experience by prioritizing operational efficiency, and by engaging authentically on the sales floor in alignment with Arc’teryx vision for in store service. Your Opportunity at ARC'TERYX:! Is to create a well-organized, efficiently run store through managing inventory control, shrink, loss prevention plans, and all other inventory related matters! Is to help ensure sales are optimized through timely flow of inventory to the stock room and sales floor! Is to provide coaching and leadership to Product Guides, empowering them to provide the highest level of customer support to our guests ! Is to consistently look for opportunities to improve store operations, in partnership with the store leadership teamIf you were in this role now, here's what you would be doing:! Managing the stock room and ensuring an efficient freight flow process! Ensuring warranties, damages, and defective merchandise are marked out and shipped to the appropriate warehouse on a consistent schedule! Executing physical inventory in alignment with company guidelines! Working with the Visual Merchandise Lead to plan for seasonal changes, off price events and discounted product ! Spending time on the floor educating guests, providing a superior level of customer support, and opening and closing the store as required Are you this person?! You have two (2) or more years of retail sales and stockroom management experience! You are quick to adopt new technology that streamlines your workflow! You are self-motivated, and enjoy problem solving! You have excellent organizational skills and are proficient in Excel and Word. ! You have outstanding oral and written communication skills, and a deep understanding of your impact ! You have proven ability to set a clear vision, align your team around common goals and foster commitment to these objectives! You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration! You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity! You seek the best (not necessarily the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right!
