Your Opportunity at Arc’teryx:As a Supply Planner, you will play a key role in Arc’teryx Sourcing by driving factory capacity planning, vendor performance management, On Time in Full (OTIF) performance, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the production plan is delivered. You will support process improvement within Supply Planning and beyond, improving the efficiency of the planning process with factories as well as with cross-functional departments, including Merchandise Planning & Allocations, Raw Material Planning, Commercialization, and Commercial teams. Meet your future team:The Supply Planning team is a process improvement driven team whose focus is to successfully deliver our global finished goods production plan. Our team is focused on identifying opportunities and mitigating risks within the supply chain and vendor base, as well as driving cross-functional communication and alignment to ensure on time delivery to the plan.If you were a Supply Planner now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:! Working with Product Commercialization, Sourcing and Merchandise Planning teams to develop and maintain capacity plans for contract manufacturers! Working with contract manufacturers on production plan, delivery schedule, and associated activities to meet the buy plan requirements! Partnering with the Merchandise Planning and Commercial teams to improve customer service levels on OTIF and other service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)! Participating in and contributing to the monthly Open to Buy (OTB) process! Maintaining adequate knowledge of all factories and processes to assist during planner transitions or absences! Maintaining a thorough understanding of key customers, other stakeholders and overall business objectives! Partnering with the Merchandise Planning team to develop adequate inventory strategies to achieve company targets without comprising service levels ! Working with factories, Distribution & Transportation and other stakeholders to improve peak season capacity constraints by optimizing physical inventory flow of raw materials and finished goods! Managing contract manufacturer relationships to ensure optimal performance with a focus on a long term and mutually beneficial partnership! Identifying risks and opportunities for improvement, work with Arc’teryx Product Commercialization team and AMER Sourcing team to recommend solutions and take advantage of opportunities! Tracking OTIF performance,  Supplier Delivery Performance (SDP) and Supplier Lead Time Performance (SLP), analyzing root cause of issues and recommending improvements ! Developing new KPIs where necessary to drive Supply Planning performance improvement! Supporting continuous process improvement initiatives within Supply Planning team, putting forward recommendations for change where necessary! Identifying  any gaps in cross-functional processes and support improvement with relevant teams! Supporting improvement and maintenance of departmental process Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to drive process consistency in the department! Supporting Senior Planners with training for new and existing employees! Supporting and encouraging the adoption of Supply Planning best practices! Supporting Senior Supply Planners and Sourcing management on special projects and assignments as requiredHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:! Participating in supply planning improvement projects and initiatives as they arise! Working closely with Raw Materials and Merchandise Planning teams on strategies that leverage agility through our Sourcing streams! Working closely with external vendors to identify and develop flexible buying options that support inventory flowAre you our next Supply Planner?! You have 3+ years’ experience in Supply Planning or an equivalent Supply Chain position, preferably in apparel or the outdoor industry! You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance or Supply Chain! You have great analytical skills and strong business and financial acumen! You have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and exceptional multitasking skills! You have strong interpersonal skills ! You are able to balance immediate and long term priorities ! You have excellent English written and spoken communication skills ! You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions! You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity! You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration! You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement!
