POSITION SUMMARY //
Nixon is currently looking for a Supply Planner (North America) to join the Nixon Team. We operate in a fast paced, fun, and high-growth environment. The right candidate will be team oriented, energetic, organized, and excited to be part of a team that is a leader in its industry.

The role of the Supply Planner is to provide Supply Planning expertise and analytics to optimize inventory while maintaining a high level of customer service and product availability in the most cost effective manner possible. The Supply Planner will proactively identify supply gaps or excesses and take the appropriate action to prevent either situation from occurring.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES //
• The Supply Planner is responsible for leading & improving the supply planning efforts in collaboration with Production Management, Product Development and Sales. In addition to leading Supply Planning activities for Technical Products, this role will also lead major supply chain process improvement efforts, such as MRP implementation and building supply and inventory management business analytics models.

• The Supply Planner will play a key role in the New Product Introduction process, collaborating with Sales and Demand Planning to determine initial supply, communicating supply timing and collaborating with Sales Operations to align supply with launch timing.

• Analyze and identify demand and supply gaps, take action to resolve and communicate them to the business

• Responsible for managing the transportation mode of all Technical products, balancing customer service requirements and freight expense.

• Collaborate with global regions to balance inventory as needed to reduce inventory excess and obsolescence

• Key member of the S&OP process, providing insight into supply and inventory status and purchase plans

• Achieve or exceed the identified goals and KPI targets, supporting corporate/department goals and KPI targets as directed.
