We are looking for a Nixon Retail Store Manager for our Berkeley, California location. As our Nixon Store Manager, you’ll work closely with our Headquarters team in a high profile, boutique setting to provide outstanding customer experiences while driving sales results, controlling costs, delivering operational excellence, influencing merchandising presentations, and developing and motivating a team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PRIORITIES
⏵ Demonstrate great business etiquette and a high level of enthusiasm when interacting with customers.
⏵ Use strong problem solving skills to find creative solutions to customer issues.
⏵ Create an outstanding store environment that connects customers with Nixon and generates brand loyalty.
⏵ Ensure customer service and operational standards are met while following Nixon’s policies and procedures.
⏵ Provide timely customer feedback to cross functional groups for product, process, policy, and the retail environment improvements.
⏵ Understand and maintain financial objectives by creating and managing a store business plan that drives performance and maximizes business opportunities.
⏵ Prepare a daily budget and schedule that supports store revenue targets.
⏵ Enroll staff in achieving store sales goals.
⏵ Manage product flow, merchandise levels, and support brand initiatives.
⏵ Prevent merchandise shortages and discrepancies with strong inventory management practices.
⏵ Manage an energetic, customer obsessed team and its development, including: hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
⏵ Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
⏵ Manage store facility supplies and maintenance issues.
⏵ Perform additional manager duties and project requirements as needed.
⏵ 3+ years of retail management experience
⏵ High School graduate or equivalent; college degree preferred.
⏵ Highly creative to drive brand initiatives with innovative action plans
⏵ Facility to maintain a clear and professional dialogue at all times
⏵ Flexible; responds well to change
⏵ Ability to easily develop partnerships with cross functional teams to influence customer experience improvements.
