AVID is seeking a passionate and innovative Brand Manager to lead AVID’s rapidly expanding outdoor sports apparel
business. This is a full-time, in-house position at AVID’s West Coast headquarters. The Brand Manager is a dynamic leader
responsible for AVID’s day-to-day operations who can lead teams, deliver results, and strategically execute AVID’s vision.
Core responsibilities include: Key Account management, Sales team oversight/support, market strategy & competitor
analysis, line planning & development, and production coordination. The Brand Manager will utilize Company resources to
ensure operational efficiencies across departments by providing expertise and solutions for challenges that may arise.


Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management and oversight of AVID’s operations and product offering
- Work closely with internal departments and external resources to execute AVID’s brand strategy
- Manage Key Accounts and oversee Sales teams (both in-house and independent reps)
- Collaborate with Sales to develop programs and initiatives to deliver targeted sales and profit goals
- Manage comprehensive seasonal calendars to ensure on-time delivery and quality go-to-market execution
- Coordinate with Design team on seasonal calendars, lineplan merchandising, and key milestones
- Work with Creative, Product, and Graphic Design teams to translate design briefs into technical specs/documentation
- Manage product lifecycle status (full price, markdown, clearance) via communication Sales and Design teams
- Identify key selling points (both features and benefits) to ensure consistent communication across all channels/products
- Monitor timely Vendor communications throughout the product development lifecycle
- Lead cost negotiations to ensure margin targets are met while delivering product objectives
- Collaborate with Marketing team on implementing key initiatives (Advertising, PR & content creation)
- Execute seasonal forecasting and provide direction to Supply Chain for inventory management and PO placement
- Ensure timely customer deliveries and service levels exceed expectations
- Assist with the management and execution of company related events (tradeshows, sales meetings, etc.)
- Report monthly on key business metrics and sales performance
- Serve as AVID’s principle point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct competitive analysis and communicate key findings to the organization
- Regularly assess AVID’s market position and make necessary recommendations/adjustments
- Oversee direct-to-consumer ecommerce initiatives
