The Snow Reporter provides assistance to the Communications team.
The Snow Reporter will assist in creating and implementing programs to communicate Mammoth Mountain Ski Area activities, specifically snow messaging, internally and externally with prime responsibility for daily snow and operational messaging, including the creation and distribution of the snow report, daily services and events information, and social media support.
Requirements
• College degree or equivalent experience in communications or journalism.
• Minimum of one year experience in public relations, communications or media relations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of ski area operations and the resort industry is helpful.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including very early mornings (5:30am start time).
• Offers of employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.
