Position Summary:


The Creative Project Manager works closely with the Sr Director Creative. The Creative Project Manager will develop and produce highly visible marketing presentations, act as a producer as needed on photo and video content shoots. They will interface in a professional manner with internal team members and external vendors and must possess the ability to communicate design process and elements in a clear, concise, and objective manner. They should be a self-starter, able to manage multiple concurrent projects, manage their own deadlines.

The Creative Project Manager must be a highly organized, a detail-oriented thinker, and excellent communicator, understand the creative process, and be an excellent project manager able to track and drive the completion of numerous small and large-scale projects simultaneously.



Essential Job Functions:


Assist and coordinate creative projects relating to Content Creation, Point of Sale, Photoshoots, and Department Presentations.

Responsible for tracking and gathering appropriate approvals throughout the creative development process of assigned projects. Coordinate sign-off and approval process for all project deliverables.

Proactively communicate information, status, milestones, and obstacles to all key stakeholders on a regular basis. Ensure that all key project/brief information is received and distributed in a timely fashion.

Establish and maintain a usable and well-communicated schedule that identifies when each task will be performed, dependencies between tasks, and who will perform each task.

Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports special projects and other documents in support of departmental operations and objectives.

Assist with general administrative activities such as arranging travel, accommodations, logistics and catering for internal meetings on a cost-efficient basis.

Resolve or escalate issues promptly to minimize impact to timeline, quality, and budget. If a project is in jeopardy, create contingency plans with input from key team members and implement a revised project schedule or scope.

Create a project management infrastructure and process, finding and presenting opportunities for improvement and additional structure when appropriate.

Provide project coordination and support on various projects as assigned by Creative Director.

Lead status meetings and keep the team aligned and on track to achieving goals and outlining next steps.

Effectively develop relationships with project team members and stakeholders in an effort to ensure all deliverables are consistently met.



Position Requirements:

Experience:


Superior interpersonal communication and people skills.

Highly motivated, self-managed individual.

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).

Minimum 5-7 years, experience in marketing and project coordination. Agency experience is a plus.

Must be a self-starter, proactive, team player, and professional. Must be detail oriented and have strong verbal & written communication skills.

Must be extremely proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and the Internet.

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a work environment where rapidly changing priorities can be the rule rather than the exception.

Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.

Self-starter for learning all aspects of the business. Driven to excel, grow and is willing to step outside of the job description.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with special attention to spelling and grammar.

Superior organization and time management skills.

Ability to function effectively as a member of a team with willingness to assist with special tasks and projects as assigned.

Ability to work with graphic designers, agencies, suppliers, and various internal departments within the
organization.

Education:


College degree and/or equivalent technical trade degree.

Must be open to travel as needed
