We are looking for a National Sales Manager with at least 5 years of SALES MANAGEMENT experience with a leading APPAREL COMPANY. You must have this background in order to be qualified for the position.

Overview of the Position:

We are looking for a National Sales Manager with at least 5 years of SALES MANAGEMENT experience with a leading APPAREL COMPANY. You must have this background in order to be qualified for the position.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and mentor outside sales force

- manage and establish sales goals by division, channel, rep and territory

- Plan seasonal business by territory and drive sales via inventory, incentives and product introductions

- Provide clear communication with reps on accountabilities, brand and product presentations and sample needs

- Prepare presentation for bi-annual Sales Meetings

- Interpret strategic objectives into definable tactical initiatives and consistently execute against assigned sales goals and objectives

- Manage and review seasonal pre-books to forecasts by territory and account

- Strategize with reps on ways to improve performance and find opportunities to increase bookings

- Implement sales contests and drives sales goals through promotional tools and inventory fill-ins

- Present useful product feedback to Design & Merchandising from the retail environment through hard facts, buyer feedback and market research

- Communicate regularly with management to discuss sales forecasts and develop plans to fulfill requirements for availability of product, merchandising and promotional needs

- Manage and provide plan to actual reports to the Sales team on their territory & accounts

- Travel required

- Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s Degree. Advanced degree desirable

- Minimum 5 years experience in Sales Management in mens and women’s business. Specialty and Department Store experience a must.

- Advanced excel including pivot table expertise a must
