DescriptionAs our Footwear Tech Developer II, you'll provide project and process management within the Product Creation team at an intermediate level. You'll be responsible for converting a project brief and a 2D design rendering into a 3D sample that meets the needs of the team and the consumer and that can be successfully and profitably commercialized and produced. You'll actively participate in meetings with Product Creation during all phases of the development process, influencing and executing the decision making process that leads to on-time product confirmation and sample delivery. You'll plan and execute development according to critical dates and performance/profitability goals and address challenges and plans accordingly to deliver proven and tested product. You'll ensure manufacturability of product concepts and utilize footwear knowledge and tools to effectively and appropriately achieve project objectives. You'll use the most appropriate communication tools to successfully manage the product creation process from initial concept, commercialization and production. You'll manage sampling and prototyping across geographies. You'll apply fundamental understanding of Footwear Dimension’s best practices to identify product and testing requirements and assure product performance through physical and field-testing (fit). This opportunity also involves applying fundamental understanding of product and footwear dimension’s objectives, quality goals and athlete/consumer requirements. You will have the responsibility of recommending and specifying to Product Creation teams the material, component and construction options to meet key features and product performance goals. In addition, you'll engage appropriately in all phases of the product process to ensure projects are completed on time, can be commercialized, manufactured, while and meeting design intent performance, costing and sustainability goals.
