WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Asia-Pacific Latin-America (APLA) is a multi-cultural, growth Geography (Geo) that is seeking a leader with the functional and technical expertise that can lead the delivery and support of data analysis into South East Asia & India (SEA&I)
As the Lead Data Analyst in this space, you will become the expert of your local market and business needs and be able to translate those insights into technical requirements for both local and global technology solutions working closely with the Geo Technical Product and Engineering organizations. Core to this role is the understanding of the global technology platform and data strategy and the criticality of aligning to the principles of customizing / extending global platforms into territories and/ or providing alternative technology solutions aligned with geo and global platform owner’s strategy.
Partnering cross functionally with Business teams to understand their needs within a complex, constantly evolving digital marketplace. Working with Geo Engineering teams to package the required data ready for presentation and deploy reporting and analytics services/tools with a focus on the Nike business value stream, to enable data driven business decisions. Build and deploy quantitative research, casual inference, and predictive models to understand and optimize drivers of growth and performance. In addition, deploy forecasts and report business key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior leadership and partner with the stakeholders to deliver relevant analysis and insights.
Critical to this role is understanding the end-to-end Lifecyle of the products, obsessing how products are performing in production and working closely with our Technical Operations organization as well as product owners to obsess incident and problem trends impacting our consumers and athletes.
Lastly, in this role, you will manage the intake of new ideas and asks from our business partners in territory, helping to assess them against strategic objectives, priorities, and resource capacity. In addition, as we delivery technology solutions you and your team will be critical to assessing and determining the delivery and transition approach as well as last mile technical implementation approaches for your market.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
* Technical expertise: technical expertise with database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques applicable to relevant domain. Experience working with large data sources/models and using Big Data technologies
* Deliver to a plan with quality: (Reporting & insights) ability to deliver technical products or features against a plan’s timeline and budget / (Data governance) ability to ensure delivery of Data Governance delivery against roadmaps
* Customer obsession: ability to work closely with customers to focus on the most impactful work for them
* Influencing Skills: ability to champion technical architecture and development needs with cross functional stakeholders
