WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Chemistry Deployment Director to be based in Singapore. This role will lead deployment of our Responsible Sourcing and Manufacturing (RSM) Chemistry strategy, ensuring foundational expectations for proper chemicals management are met across our supply chain.
The candidate needs to have excellent communication skills across multiple stakeholders, proven ability to work cross-functionally, and the ability influence across different cultures and leadership levels. Your success will depend on your ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and then drive rigorous, well-communicated deliverables to the suppliers.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role, you will engage with teams on a global basis and drive programs that help us achieve our enterprise targets for chemistry. You will support key strategic initiatives on chemicals management topics including air emissions, solvent use, input stream management, restricted substances, and chemical traceability.
On any given day, you will
* Respond to challenges and drive meaningful resolutions
* Provide expertise on enterprise chemistry targets and programs to achieve them
* Collaborate globally with other deployment teams and partner managers
* Drive clarity and understanding of chemistry programs to our suppliers
* Manager complex projects across a broad supply base
* Leverage critical thinking to solve complex challenges
* Communicate at a variety of levels across the organization
* Influence key stakeholders on program alignment and scaling approach
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The position is located in Singapore, and reports to the Deployment Director in Singapore with a dotted line to the RSM Chemistry Director in Oregon, USA. You will work with deployment teams and partner managers on a global scale, across all regions for our contract manufacturing scope. You will work with compliance teams, chemical engineering teams, sustainability teams, technology teams, external stakeholders, and other related groups. This role is a key link between head quarter vision / strategy and field execution at contract manufacturers.
