WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer. This role in the Security Technology Management team is to bi-directionally translate strategic roadmaps and leadership direction to tactical and operational process, procedures and tasks, and is part of a team of experienced security professionals who are passionate about their work and Nike. The candidate needs to have strong problem-solving skills and be able to determine root cause along with providing relevant solutions. They should have an operational mindset, believe change is an opportunity and not rattled by ambiguity.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
This role mentors, coaches and provides hands-on technical and tactical expertise to a 24x7 team of dedicated security engineers focused on maintaining operational stability while reducing risk. Responsible for supporting the design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of security controls that protect Nike’s systems and data. Our realm of capabilities and toolsets that we leverage include Endpoint Protection, IDS/IPS, WAF, Proxy, PKI and Advanced Threat Protection.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
We are a diverse, cross-functional team that collaborates globally across the organization with a variety of stakeholders from service desk technicians to system architects, developers and lawyers. You will partner closely with Cyber Defense, Data Protection, Windows Client/Server Platform and Cloud Security/Automation teams to assess, analyze, and optimize operational tasks, functions and processes.
You will report to the Director, Corporate Information Security located at ICC, with dotted line reporting to the Director, Security Technology Management located at World Headquarters.
