WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Coupa Digital Marketplace (E-Procurement) Manager to join the function in Shanghai, China. The position will use our Source-to-Pay platform Coupa. The job is a blend of catalog management, analysis and technical support. This job required to interact across multiple levels of management both internally and externally with our supply base.

The Procurement Operational Structure is focused around 5 areas. They are: Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Tactical Sourcing, Transformation (Project Management Organization), Programs (Sustainability, Supplier Diversity, etc.) and Enablement (Data Analytics & Insights, Purchasing, etc.)

Nike Greater China Headquarters and Asia Pacific Procurement manages procurement process and supply base efficiently and effectively, drives process improvements and leverage on technology for automation to achieve operational efficiency for the Nike brand and wholly-owned subsidiaries include Converse.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You’ll work in a collaborative and diverse team environment providing many opportunities to have an active voice. You will advise Category Group on their category strategy and work with them to implement Coupa Catalogs. The candidate is required to develop, implement, and measure catalog strategy for indirect purchase that fully meets the demand of our businesses. Define supplier enablement strategy to get suppliers on board and processing transactions through Coupa.

l Support ongoing catalog management activities within identified catalog items and suppliers

l Work directly with Category Leads and Strategic Sourcing Managers to understand their Sourcing/Buying Plan and verify pricing is correct

l Load test catalog, ensuring catalog content is correct moving to production

l Clearly define service level agreements and requirement to assess current supplier community and recommend new suppliers who can add value related to new sourcing opportunities

l Set engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans, and coordinate activities across and between multiple project workstreams

l Identify and implement strategic programs and develop ways to assess, measure, and improve operational performance

l Assess and/or guide the assessment of large datasets to discover meaningful patterns, trends and relationships

l Develop advanced analytics and / or cognitive approaches to generate insights for business spend management

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You’ll work with Category Groups to solve their most complex and strategic operational challenges. The team spans the demand management from intake to contract and all through connecting the supply to the buyers digitally using Coupa Catalogs. Liaise with Procurement Technology related to Coupa system. You’ll be the point person for eProcurement at Nike Procurement Greater China and the position reports to Director Enablement & Programs.
