WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Under Nike’s "Consumer Direct Acceleration" strategy, our stores are key consumer and member touch points, and Nike Value Stores (NVS), consisting of Nike Unite/Factory/Clearance Stores, plays an integral role.
Our goals are delivering access to Nike by evolving the value experience, connecting communities to sport while growing the business profitably.
Our NVS Retail District Manager plays a significant role in this process.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
You will be responsible for achieving and maximizing sales and profit budget for Nike Value Stores in Japan. This includes aligning with the NVS’ strategy and leading store managers to define and execute the operational process as well brand activities and sales promotions in partnership with the brand team.
You will lead, train, and oversee the development of a group of Head Coaches. You will be supporting the Store Management teams through development support, make hiring decisions, and drive performance management, recognition, and rewards.
You will be accountable for the financial budget including store P/L and continuously analyze sales performance to track against our goals and strategies.
Also responsible for ensuring NVS is positioned as a valuable Nike destination for our consumers/members. You will partner with our brand team to plan and execute brand activities and sales promotions.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will be playing an integral role for Japan Value Stores in west district, managing typically 7 to 10 stores, reporting to Japan Value Marketplace Senior Director.
You will be acting as bridge between stores and office teams through strong partnerships with Store Operations, NAX (Nike Athlete Experience), DSM, Finance, HR and other supporting functions to accelerate both business and people/team growths.
