WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The Director, Consumer Direct Digital Marketing in Japan is a marketing leader with a deep understanding of the consumer, her lifestyle, and how she shops online. The Director will lead a team of expert digital marketers to deliver on Brand and Business objectives, connecting our members with the innovation, experiences and sport activity that position Nike as an industry leading sport and lifestyle brand. The ideal candidate is a go-getter, curious and eager to innovate, to test & fail and learn & evolve. You value the importance of data and consumer insights and appreciate the creative process. You understand marketing technology, the role of online to offline (O2O), direct-to-consumer channels, and you are a thought leader, a digital evangelist and a consumer advocate.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

In this role you will be responsible for leading a team of marketers focused on building and growing, marketing Japan’s digital ecosystem, transforming Nike into the most sophisticated, athlete focused, digital brand in the world. You will bring best-in-class brand and commerce experiences to life for the consumer, working as part of an integrated Consumer Direct O2O Marketing team.

You will own, and deliver the holistic Nike Direct Digital Marketing Vision, Strategy & Plan that serve the brand & business objectives, and member activity.

You will drive a team of consumer-obsessed, digital marketing experts responsible for building, powering, and evolving Nike’s online to offline ecosystem. This ecosystem includes dot com, apps, targeted communication, and social media.

You will create integration and connectivity between the teams to build elevated 13-week journeys and O2O consumer experiences.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You serve as an integral member of the Consumer Direct Marketing leadership team, the key marketing partner to support Nike Direct Digital Business Teams and sit as part of the overall Japan Marketing team to lead and implement an accelerated digital offense.

You will partner with APLA Geo and Global Nike Direct Digital Commerce Marketing teams in the planning, operationalization, and execution of new digital capabilities to advance the member experience.

As the Digital evangelist and team leader you act as an integrator and thought leader between Marketing functions: Brand Management, Brand Creative, Integrated Media, and bridge to the business
