Job Description:

For Converse merchants, everything begins and ends with the consumer. The Converse Merchandising team understands consumer needs and market capacity to create the right product mix for marketplaces across Asia (GC, South-Korea). From stores to online, this team helps bring the seasonal vision to life. The Merchandising team has the unique ability to see beyond trends to identify what’s next to deliver the right product to the right places at the right time and price.

The role is responsible to set the Asia Footwear merchandising strategy, lead the team to bring end to end product insight with global and geo counterparts. Serve consumer with the most relevant products to enable Converse’s vision and drive sustainable growth.

The Footwear Merchandising Director Provides guidance on Asia needs based on our Geography Product Strategy, create assortments based on Global product line and ensures in-season execution.

Accountabilities:

• Drive consumer and market insights into a rolling multi season product line architecture

• Translate Global Line Architecture into initial Asia line plan

• Create the assortment strategy by gender, channel, franchise and category,

• Lead Strong partnership with Marketing and Marketplace planning to deliver line plan that meets consumers needs and financial targets.
