WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Brand Specialist to join our Tokyo-based team.
You’ll help create the future of sport with specific focus on our performance sport dimensions. As part of our Japan Marketing team, this role will be responsible for executing our brand strategy which is critical for success of Nike Tokyo’s daily membership marketing strategy. This person should be comfortable with ambiguity, work collaboratively and carry a positive attitude, always. Being a team first collaborator, you’re an energy giver, passionate about sport, empathetic and curious to learn our key enablers for this role.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
You will be working on both the long term and short term consumer centric planning and executions. In the long term you will work with your manager and director on constructing marketing strategies towards growing our business revenue. In the short term you will be required to manage digital execution, brief and help create consumer contents and activations, connect digital and physical consumer journey, also manage & partner with Nike trainers, partner gyms and build community relationships. Being part of this team, also requires a lot of communication with the broader marketing team as well as other business teams such as sales, e-commerce, legal and more, also you lead conversations with multiple external agencies.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
As a Japan Brand Specialist, you will report directly into the Manager of Brand Marketing, Performance. You will collaborate with teammates across Nike to build more effective and efficient ways to encourage and connect with athletes*.
You will also collaborate and partner with the following key internal and external partners: Geography and City Teams, Brand Management, Brand Creative, Integrated Media, Consumer Direct Marketing including Channel Marketing, PR/Communications, Social & Community Impact, Product & Merchandising, Marketplace Partners, Finance & Procurement, Agency & Production partners.
