Job summary
Develop and implement supply chain designs, network models, initiatives, priorities, and/or processes across Asia countries/territories based on global strategy. Measure supply chain performance and use this information to enhance operations efficiency and business results.
Reporting lines & Key stakeholders
This role reports to Sr. director, Asia Operations, you will work closely all teams within operations, including Logistics and Transportation, Marketplace Operations and Inventory Management across Asia countries / territories and also Global Supply Chain Innovation team, as well as outside the operations such as Finance, Controlling , Strategy, IT, etc.
Key accountabilities
Asia Operations Strategy
• Assist the Sr. Director to define the Asia initiatives and priorities based on the Global Operations strategy
• Develop the strategic roadmap to elevate the Asia supply chain capabilities in the dynamic and ever-changing environment in order to power the Converse business
• As the communication bridge between Asia team and Global team in terms of strategic alignments
• Assist the Sr. Director and drive the cross-functional communications in preparing the CSR and AOP
Performance Management
• Define and Align the SMART operations KPIs across Asia countries / territories based on the global performance management framework (Tier 1 and Tier 2)
• Setup and align the targets for the corresponding KPIs
• Communicate and align the KPIs and targets with the Global SCI team
• Assist the Asia Operations team to achieve the defined targets along the way
• Measure and review the defined KPIs measures to track the performance of the operations team on regular basis
• Drive the discussion for the improvement plan across functions and territories
Portfolio Management and Governance
• Work with the team on defining and developing the new operations capabilities via projects
• Prepare and communicate the business cases across functions, including Finance, Technology and the Global SCI
• Ensure all the projects are complying with the global operation governance process
• Monitor the overall portfolio of supply chain projects - the project status including the timeline and budget, and closely communicate with the all the project stakeholders timely
• Measure the project outcomes according to the pre-defined targets and goals
• Assist the Sr. Director to drive actions for improvements
Project Implementation
• Lead and deliver new operations capabilities via projects if required
