About the job
Job Descriptions:
1. Act as key partner with business owner, understand the key business drivers and install controllership accordingly to manage the financial reporting risk
2. Closely collaborate with Planning to manage daily reporting needs and drive effective business decisions
3. Closely work with tax team, treasury team, intercompany team to ensure statutory reporting compliance in all the aspects
4. Review Contracts on/offline and assign accurate G/L Account and accounting treatment for the further booking process
5. Perform monthly closing, ensure all GL related entries posting like accrual /amortization/reclass etc. been timely booked in the proper period compliant with US GAAP and China GAAP
6. Prepare monthly BS account reconciliation within deadline, follow up open issues and take immediate actions
7. Investigates unusual transactions, fluctuations and determines appropriate accounting treatment for income statement and balance sheet assignments in accordance with US GAAP
8. Support internal and external audit
9. Maintain and drive continuous improvement, while collaborating with others, on owned processes to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness; define and drive the execution of best practices with the big umbrella of GCHQ.
10. Support GC controlling/Tech team for SAP on-going enhancement or other system related projects
11. Drive optimized operational model and take the leading role to drive new process, such as new office set up, HQ/Branch reporting design, etc.
