WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an "Assortment Planning Manager" to drive and expand NDIS (Nike Direct Inline Store) business with key internal and external stakeholders in Japan. In an Assortment Planning role, she/he led pre-season product depth planning and in-season and post-season activities related to NDIS. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will be accountable for leading style-color level (and Key Franchise) consumer demand forecast for Nike footwear, apparel, and equipment products to maximize revenue and margin and optimize inventory for NDIS. create seasonal depth planning based on consumer behavior, trends, and marketing activities. uses planning tools/systems & forecasts to anticipate trends, provide insights & make decisions. Interpret consumer trends into effective plans, Drive alignment across stakeholders, and reconcile assortment plan with Merchandize Financial Plan. you will lead In-season execution such as promotions/markdowns, inventory cut/chase, and x-MPU inventory movement.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will be part of the Nike NDDC/NSO Planning team, reporting to the NDDC (NIKE Direct Digital Commerce)/NSO (NIKE Stores Owned) Assortment Planning Manager. You’ll closely work with key X-functional teams and external strategic partners. You’ll also work closely with APLA (Asia Pacific Latin America), DSM (Demand & Supply Management) Counterpart, and other territory planners to acquire new capabilities, best practice sharing, forecast submissions, etc. Within Japan DSM, you’ll receive seasonal guidance from March Financial Planners at pre-season and hand off to Allocators just before the season starts. You’ll also closely work with Operations to confirm deliveries, Inventory Operations for excess/short inventory information, and the value marketplace planning team for liquidation. The territory Merchanting team will be a great partner for you to kick off the depth planning for the season and analytics teams for more insights.
