WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking a Data Analytics Manager to build and maintain Nike’s data and analytics foundation, directly benefiting our stakeholders and our consumers.

You will develop a deep knowledge of multiple data domains within Nike and how they relate to each other and the business. You will be the core member to build insights knowledge and drive a comprehensive understanding of the full Nike data domain for Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) analytics. You are self-motivated and data curious - especially about how data can be used to optimize business opportunities.

Our best Data analytics managers have strong problem solving skills, ability to connect the dots, and turn large volumes of data into impactful insights fueling strategic business plans. A great teammate would also be someone with drive and curiosity, all coupled with high detail-orientation and excellent written and verbal communication.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

In this role, you will own business forecasting and lead the business performance reviews, and impact analysis for initiatives or events. You will also have a hands-on approach to problems and the skills to work with high amounts of data in a consumer, web experience, marketing, or product analysis.

You will also own an end-to-end analytics process from leading the meetings with the stakeholders to discussing the business questions, defining the scope and methodology of the analysis, running the queries, synthesizing analysis, interpreting trends and creating impactful presentations and visualizations to share insights and recommendations with various business stakeholders.

You will put people and processes first, in order to deliver technical and non-technical solutions which will drive the greatest benefit for the business.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will work with many groups in the Nike family including Japan NDDC team and partner with the Finance, Member growth, and APLA (ASIA PACIFIC LATIN AMERICA) Nike Direct Analytic groups. In summary, the person in this role will be a key contributor to the success of the business and the driver of data and insights informed decisions to our digital business in Japan.
