WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are hiring a Digital Commerce and Member Analytics Manager for Japan. In this role, you will be a key member of a growing team passionate about Nike’s data analytics capabilities. You will be at the heart of the Japan digital business and will inform and support stakeholders to make decisions that will drive the performance of Nike Direct business.

This role relies on a strong partnership with the Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) team to understand what drives business performance from a Financial, Digital Journey, and Consumer perspective. Additionally, this person is at the center of the analysis supporting the development of our Member strategy.

This position requires a self-motivated person, solid Retail and Digital Analytics background, and deep technical skills, all coupled with high detail-orientation and excellent written and verbal communication. The right individual will be on top of retail trends and understand the intricacies of digital commerce and consumer/loyalty analytics.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will participate in the strategic definition of future Analytics priorities, identify opportunities for analysis we should be doing to support business strategy and create a roadmap to develop the capability. You will also driving business reviews, business and member forecasting, business cases, and impact analysis for initiatives or events.

This role will also provide a hands-on approach to problems and the skills to work with high amounts of data in a consumer, web experience, marketing, or product analysis. Bring an end-to-end perspective to assessing the performance of our business and to create business cases or opportunities for discovery.

Analyze consumers behavior and by understanding cohorts, explain how members drive our business results and the opportunities. Understand the consumer activity with our member program’s benefits and what drives engagement or new/ repeat buyers

Develop SQL queries and data visualizations to fulfill ad-hoc analysis requests and ongoing reporting needs. Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders to drive and perform analysis in collaboration with teammates or partner groups

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will work with many groups in the Nike family including Japan NDDC team and partner with the Finance, Member growth, and ASIA PACIFIC LATIN AMERICA (APLA) Nike Direct Analytic groups. In summary, the person in this role will be a key contributor to the success of the business and the driver of data and insights informed decisions for our digital business in Japan.
