WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for consumerists with an affinity for product that enjoy the energy of moving at the pace of retail and the consumer. A successful Merchandise Manager will thrive and contribute to an inclusive, positive, and progressive team dynamic.

We are looking for someone that can drive a well-rounded strategic plan for the marketplace by using historical data, analytics, and real-time market feedback to advise and lead cross-functional partners. This role will focus highly on product, color and line plan details that help identify opportunities to grow the business and serve the Consumer better.

This position will report to Canada Merchandising Director.

Key Accountabilities include:

• Curate consumer-right assortment for Value Marketplace (Nike Unite/ Factory stores) and strategically liquidate marketplace excessive inventories to ensure portfolio excellence.

• Drive in-season business results to achieve KPIs, plan & strategy; leverage weekly business results and marketplace trends to move at the pace of the consumer via read and react activities

• Set all Factory & Clearance pricing, markdowns and promo events

• Ensure assortments support financial targets in partnership with Geography Nike Direct Planning and Analytics

• Building and sustaining positive relationships with key cross functional (Planning, Allocations, Finance) and Geo Partners.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or higher, or combination of relevant education, experience and training
* 5 years experience in footwear or apparel merchandising, product creation and/or retail buying in a vertical, multi-brand or digital environment
* Footwear, Apparel, Equipment or relevant consumer product merchandising experience
* Ability to develop strong working relationships with teammates and cross-functional partners.
* Great Teammate & Contributor, attitude and excitement to learn newness.
* Thorough attention to detail, understanding the importance of consistency.
