Job Description
Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) is a strategic focus and the growth engine for Nike, Inc. This person will lead our sneaker digital platform, what we call SNKRS (SNEAKERS), to shape and cultivate a street culture ecosystem powered by our communities and energized by our product, content and experiences. As part of that work, this person will be on the front seat launching the SNKRS App in Korea for the first time. The person in this role will be on the forefront to serve sneaker culture and community in Korea defining the future success of Nike.

We are looking for a Korea Nike Direct Digital Commerce SNKRS/Launch Director to lead the SNKRS/Launch business and team. The person in this role has to be organized, self-motivated, proactive, accountable and highly adaptable person with strong knowledge of digital consumer journey with embedded tech capabilities. All coupled with excellent communication skills and with the ability to solve complex problems, we are looking for someone who has senior leadership experience in partnering and collaborating with broader group of cross-functional teams to lead SNKRS business. We are also looking for a person who is passionate with sneaker culture and communities. Experience related in commerce or/and community Apps is an added advantage.

You will set and implement the SNKRS/Launch strategy aligned with Nike one marketplace strategy. This also means that your role will not only be limited to digital but also to B&M (Brick & Mortar) stores to build a seamless omni-channel journey to serve sneaker consumers by partnering and collaborating with other channel leaders. You will lead cross functional teams to introduce SNKRS App in Korea for the first time positioning it to be the ultimate desination of sneaker culture. You will lead the team with launching Nike’s high heat products in the SNKRS platform by continuously building strategy to deliver excitement, fun and fairness. Being creative but putting operational excellence in the top priority at the same time is a must to serve consumers with fairness. On a season bases, you will build product, content and experience strategy and guide the team to execute and share insights to broader group of teams.

As the SNKRS/Launch Director, you will have direct reporting teammates and you’ll join a cross-functional team of people who are passionate about creating Nike sneaker culture to drive energy and power the marketplace. You will partner and collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, Consumer Services, Digital Operation and NBHD(Neighborhood, Store) team to deliver a premium digital and local community experience to our consumers. You will partner and communicate with Geo and Global partners as well to be aligned on strategy and to implement globally up-to-date/locally relevant digital product capabilities. You will be reporting directly to Sr. Dir. Korea NDDC & Connected Marketplace in Korea and dotted-line report to Sr. Dir, SNKRS/NBHD in APLA(Asia Pacific Latin America).
