The Demand and Supply Management (DSM) team is responsible for ensuring every Nike athlete is able to access the product they want, when they want it. DSM combine insights and analytics to sense and shape how much product consumers will want, driving inventory efficiency and productivity. By ensuring Consumer Demand is Nike Demand, we can better serve their needs.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an Assortment Planning Manager who will focus on Nike’s Digital business in Pacific to ensure consumer demand is met and a healthy pull market is maintained. The success of our team relies on collaborative and detail oriented Assortment Planning Managers that can build and manage their plans to optimize sales, margin and profitable sustainable growth. This role will deliver assortment plans in collaboration with key cross-functional, geo and territory partners. The candidates need to have strong retail acumen and prior relevant experience, as well as leadership and influencing skills. Our team is interested in candidates who are curious, entrepreneurial and who can thrive when the way forward isn’t clear. We are looking for someone who is innovative, strategic and who can move at the pace of the consumer.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will work with DSM, Merchandising and Analytics, to develop a robust assortment planning framework that includes product depth, flow and SKU efficiency, whilst providing marketplace consumer insights to evolve the product line. Your plans will drive increased revenue, margin and optimize inventory. You will understand product, marketplace, member/membership, insights and marketing strategies to advise consumer demand and inventory forecasts.

You will work across pre-season, in-season and post-season planning. A typical day/week will involve building bottoms up forecasts to inform pre-season decisions, sales analysis to identify risk and opportunity and collaboration with your account team to manage performance. You will use analytics, technology, data and cross-functional inputs to support product-based retail sales and inventory investment forecasts to advise merchandising, finance, marketing, Supply & Inventory Planning and Operations.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

In this role you will be an objective business partner to Merchandising, Allocation Planning, and Merchandise Financial Planning to help deliver clear, thoughtful, fact-based business decisions. You will collaborate and influence these key cross functional partners to inform pre-season and in-season risks & opportunities.
