DescriptionAs part of the Demand and Supply Management (DSM) function, the Supply & Inventory Planning organization is charged with aligning and driving best practices across demand planning, supply planning, inventory purchasing/management and other up/downstream partners. This is achieved through collaboration with leaders across the geographies, product engines and technology support groups.For Nike to achieve its objectives, we must drive change in the way we govern the data and parameters which are the life-blood of a smooth process engine. We must inspire adoption of best practices globally. With quality inputs and processes, we will be able to fully leverage the sophisticated system algorithms to optimize our demand/supply match. Without quality inputs, people will work around the system and we will fall short. That is where you come in…As the Process Governance Lead, you will help Nike realize the benefits of its planning systems/processes through implementing strong governance of planning parameters, running simulation scenarios, pro-actively managing data quality and driving best practices.In this role you will create and utilize process tools that positively impact productivity and accountability by managing critical parameters and processes to support E2E Nike supply chain.Planning Parameter Best PracticesWork with business partners to create and/or update policy, process and procedure documentation that accurately reflects aligned best practices for planning parameters.
Work with analytics partners to develop/enhance metrics and tools allowing visibility into process alignment and impact analysis.
Monitor gaps and discrepancies to understand impact to business to foster awareness, truest and strengthen ownership of accountability.
Data QualityMonitor overall data quality for key planning attributes and work with business experts to understand and resolve root causes of issues to increase the trust, speed, and quality of decisions.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in supply chain related work experience. End-to-end supply chain knowledge with specific planning experience a plus.
Understands the business benefits of good governance.
Possesses a quick learning agility and strong business acumen with the ability to connect cross-functional and global business process.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills by actively seeking information and listening to key constituents, understanding what needs to be achieved and influencing change when needed.
Ability to understand challenges or underlying concerns, share ideas and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management, understand trade-offs and make a decision.
Excellent oral and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and communicating complex concepts across different leadership levels.
Ability to network, influence and utilize internal and external resources across the globe.
Hands-on, getting things done attitude.
Ability to travel approximately 5-10 % of the time.
