DescriptionAs a Benefit Manager for Leaves & Work/Life Programs you will be part of the Benefits Center of Excellence (COE) team within Nike’s broad based Total Rewards HR function. You will be responsible for managing and developing the leave and Work/Life Benefits team with delivery programs, negotiating vendor contracts and contributing to the Benefits Operations Strategy. This position will be located at the World Headquarters in Oregon.Key Activities: Manage and develop Leave and Work/Life Benefits team (people management)
Ensure program delivery through effective oversight of project execution, achieving productivity and quality measures 
Analyze operational results, evaluate trends and recommend changes in programs, processes and support
Contribute Leave and Work/Life expertise and partner with TR Operations Director to create best in class Leave and Work/Life program administration practices, including formal Return to Work/Stay at Work programs.
Lead contract negotiations for Strategic vendors, lead team through vendor performance issues with strategic vendors
Manage complex policy exceptions and service issue escalations to root cause and resolution
Drive stakeholder management within the region 
Provide guidance and oversight to support the implementation of Benefits policies, tools, programs, and processes in the region
Lead team to identify program needs requirements/gaps, identify program and process risks, compliance issues and develop solutions. 
Plan resources to ensure adequate staffing against operations and project work.
Create a workplace culture consistent with Nike culture and instill a spirit of teamwork, collaboration, and diversity. 
Contribute to the Benefits Operations Strategy.

Benefit program quality and compliance
Vendors consistently performing at high levels
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field or an additional 2 years’ experience in lieu of a degree 
Understanding of general HR principles and policies 
Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills 
A minimum of 5 years’ related experience in benefits strategy and design 
Experience with global retirement plans, pension plans, medical plans, Life/AD&D plans, Disability plans, Paid Time Off, Work/Life benefits 
Must have deep expertise in at least 2-3 technical areas of benefits, but with a breadth of knowledge of all benefit programs 
Advanced communication skills to navigate internal stakeholder management, cross-functional team interactions, inter-team dynamics and external vendor management 
Preferred qualifications:Non U.S. benefit design experience preferred 
Experience with a major corporation providing benefits programs of a scope similar to Nike’s is preferred 
Demonstrated ability to work flexibly with varied and multiple cultures, countries, regulatory, and market environments 
Ability to travel, occasionally, including internationally
