DescriptionAs the Senior Director, Assort Visual Technology in Go-to-Market Solutions (GTMS), you will serve as one of the technology partners for Merchandising. In this role you will:
Be a member of the GTMS core technology leadership team
Lead enterprise level technology solutions for Merchandising & Sales for the Assortment Creation process
Explore new technologies, processes, and innovations to address identified priorities
Work closely with Cross-functional business and technology peers to develop platforms vision, strategy and execution plans that are aligned with business outcomes
Be responsible for financial management of the Assort Visual Portfolio budget
Stay current with industry trends, build roadmap for capabilities and investments to deliver on business objectives and collaborate with the broader Technology groups to deliver on priorities identified as needed
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:To make it clear, we're not looking for just anyone.  We're looking for someone special, someone who had these experiences and clearly demonstrated these skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required
10+ years of professional experience in IT, business or a related field required
10+ years professional experience leading complex efforts to development cross capability technology including working with vendors and external partners required
10+ years’ experience leading teams of 50+ employees and managing $10M+ budgets to build technology solutions in an agile development environment required
Experience in the retail industry preferred
Experience leading & developing managers & technology professionals with high expectations, a collaborative style and a focus on continuous improvement, quality, and planning
Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-moving, highly matrixed organization with complex technology solutions
Experience developing skills in team leadership, collaboration, conflict resolution, mentoring and building strong relationships
Strong and recognized leader with an empowering and engaging management style
Strong relationship-building skills; ability to create trust among those with diverse personal styles
Demonstrated expertise of building consensus across business partners and technology leaders, and influencing successful outcomes.
Experience articulating and influencing a vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates a team and focuses their energy on achieving business goals.
Advanced skills in strategic & critical thinking and organizational awareness with ability to creatively solve complex problems with large business impact
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively influence others internally and externally
Experience leading teams with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Lean, Kanban, XP Programming
