While roles range from pilots to security specialists to teachers, one thing remains constant: the teams deliver exceptional experiences and services at Nike locations around the world.The Accounting Director, Innovation & Sourcing Ops will be an integral member of Global Controlling’s End to End Supply Chain team, responsible for progressing the team’s priority initiatives with a relentless focus on achieving Global Controlling’s strategic imperatives of: Optimizing Enterprise Risk, Effective/Efficient/Scalable Operations, Deliver Value to Stakeholders, and Unleash the Most Diverse, Inclusive and Talented Team. This position is a team leader which is responsible for leading the team’s strategy deployment and operations, such as: cross-functional partnerships, addressing complex accounting issues/conclusion, partnering with subject matter experts, liaison with internal and external auditors, driving the creation and updating of enterprise policies, coordinating period end close and reporting, enable centrally led controlling activities, contractual terms review, and supply chain compensation analytics. Success in this role requires the ability to:Think broadly and long-term when leading the deployment of the team’s priority initiatives.
Proactively provides financial, controlling and accounting expertise
Build mutually beneficial, cross-functional relationships to achieve strategic objectives
Exhibit competencies of influencing business partners, peers and finance leaders. 
Demonstrate strong cross-functional business acumen and communication of financial stories
Demonstrate functional and/or technical proficiency in Finance area of specialty, and applies the expertise to execute against Nike’s business goals and objectives. 
Continuously enhances professional knowledge and stays current with Nike and industry best practices. 
Drives effectiveness through continuous optimization and improvement of organizations, processes, and systems. 
Effectively applies LEAN or a similar process optimization concept. 
Effectively manages organizational and process changes by building and maintaining momentum for change, engaging stakeholders, aligning the organization, training and developing people, and ensuring business readiness and adoption for change.

QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, preferably with an emphasis in Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management or equivalent. Masters of Accountancy or MBA highly preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in increasing areas of responsibility focused heavily on sourcing and supply chain; preferably within a large, complex, multinational manufacturing corporation
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity managing both people and projects
Must have strong understanding of COSO / ICFR / SOX and accounting practices to engage with various constituents across NIKE.
Strong international business acumen and multicultural experience
Experience in public accounting firm, corporate internal audit team, technical accounting function, operational accounting teams, and/or internal / external financial reporting teams is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with SAP ERP, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint systems are strongly preferred.
Ability to travel 10 - 15% (domestic and international)
