DescriptionThis position is a Squad leader for Retailer Onboarding and Data Ingestion for Market Place Analytics. This position will do the core engineering work as well as coordination activities with the Vendor to get the retailer data pipe setup for us. The detail responsibilities include the following:ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with POS vendor on technical solution on how to bring the new data to Nike Pond.Create specs for vendor to do project work, examples includes: data restatement, retailer data correction, etc..Work with Geo Biz teams on the retailer onboarding forecast and planning the execution.Defines the rules for data ingest which includes transformation, cleansing and normalization.Create solution approach to ensure that conceptual data ingestion architecture is agreed and understood by all parties.Lead onshore and offshore team to execute Retailer onboarding, testing and system configuration.Develop code in AWS-EMR and Snowflake to modify the current feeds or ingest new data into the POND.Develop consumption aggregates in AWS-EMR for downstream analytical application needs.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:MS/BS degree in a computer science field or related discipline7+ years’ experience in large-scale software development5+ year experience in developing code using Informatica or other ETL like technologiesExperience with RDBMS like Oracle, Teradata and SnowflakeExperience with data warehousing, dimensional modeling and ETL developmentProven ability to work cross functional teams to deliver appropriate resolutionPrevious experience and successful track-record of learning new tools and technologiesWorking knowledge of AWS components and services, particularly, EMR, S3, Athena, Hive and LambdaStrong programming, shell scripting and SQLGood understanding of file formats including JSON, Parquet, Avro, and others NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
