DescriptionAs our Footwear Technical Manager you will create the vision and strategy to support technical training for footwear product creation. As a leader you will inspire and manage a team that designs and develops technical training programs and impactful collateral. You will rely on educational best practices to support changing business needs and elevate the technical competency of footwear product creation. You will have the ability to optimize a portfolio of classes to meet the needs of the business and identify opportunities to elevate the technical capability of the Footwear Product Creation organization.In this role you will: •Manage a portfolio of existing training programs•Collaborate with technical training leaders and subject matter experts to identify prioritize, fund and implement training opportunities•Engage with footwear leadership and stakeholders (Development, Engineering and Cost Engineering) to build connectivity, synergy and gain support for technical training across divergent functions•Partner with technical training colleagues to measure success of training programs•Consult with technical training colleagues, footwear operations leaders, and subject matter experts (SME) to continually assess and recommend training solutions to address performance gaps related to technical skills.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience
2 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
Experience integrating and applying effective adult learning methods/ training programs preferred
Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of direct reports
High profile communication and influence skills
Strong strategic planning and visioning skills 
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Results oriented problem solving skills
Flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity
Experience working in product creation role is a plus
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, domestic and international
