DescriptionThe Concept Creation Center is a workshop that includes tools, equipment, materials and systems enabling Makers, Engineers, Innovators and Designer to create. As our Workshop Lead you are responsible for managing the Concept Creation Center, focusing on the physical space, processes, complex equipment and systems. You make sure that The Concept Creation Center provide the best in class experience for our Innovation and Makers Team each and every day. You're comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the highest standards of excellence, where every day the innovation team is imagining and creating the next level prototype, solving problems and inventing new technical devices that will change the game, the competition and the athlete. You aren't afraid to have fun with your job, and bring an enthusiasm, dedication and a collaborative spirit to build and maintain the Concept Creation Center spaces that facilitate some of the world's most cutting-edge innovation.  You're a visionary who optimizes for efficiencies and never stops seeking improvements - even small changes that can make a huge impact. You generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities the entire Innovation and maker community. You are working closely with the innovation and Maker community team to coordinate design and build of custom tools and equipment that enable new processes and accelerate Nike Innovation. You work in close collaboration with our WHQ EHS team to facilitate compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines. You provide advice on measures to minimize hazards or unhealthy situations or potential violations. You are responsible to establish a safe workplace according to legal and NIKE standards and foster a culture of attention to health and safety. You are immersed in a culture of hands-on problem-solving, and surrounded by a community of independent thinkers and autonomous doers. You’ll do your part to support and preserve that culture and, with your hard work and unique perspective, help to enhance and evolve it.Responsibilities: within the Concept Creation Center Studio Space- 5S (Set, Sort, Shine, Standardize and Sustain)- Space visual management & communication- Develop and implement new, scalable and sustainable organizational systems- Manage all safety standards in accordance with OSHA- Facilitate and manage project archiving- Badge access and access policy controlEquipment and Machines- Manage all equipment, machines and systems- Perform routine analysis on all equipment- Explore and implement new capabilitiesCoordinate and/or facilitate- Equipment training- Repairs and/or replacement- Anchoring, move and storageProcurement- New Equipment- Chemical (including storage management)- Tools, consumables, supplies and footwear componentsQualifications- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. - Technical understanding of pneumatic tools, presses and shop equipment- Ability to lead multiple complex projects and prioritize work according to potential impact- Competent with computers (experience with Microsoft office, Database and archiving systems preferred – CAD drawing skills are an advantage but not essential)- Effective verbal and written communication skills in local market language- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with little direction- Ability to share ideas and develop effective responses or elevate specific concerns to team and/or management- Experience interacting with factories and outside vendors is desired- Ability to physically lift up to 30 pounds during work.
