DescriptionAs our Senior Software Engineer, you'll work as part of our Financial Planning and Analytics Product Team developing solutions for Nike Finance as we expand our technical planning capability and evolve/support the current applications to meet the constantly changing needs of our global business. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, developing and deploying complex financial planning solutions, across multiple platforms, as a integral part of the Agile Team.If you're the one for this role, you'll be joining the Enterprise Finance Solutions organization. EFS brings together technology and process expertise into one streamlined, product team. We deliver one-stop, integrated process and technology solutions that enable Nike, Inc.'s businesses and brands worldwide. Our focus is on providing lean solutions that eliminate waste, maximize customer value, and drive profitable business growth.QualificationsTo make it clear, we're not looking for just anyone. We're looking for is an individual who possesses the following knowledge, skills and abilities:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
5 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree
5 years' technical, business or related experience
5 years of comprehensive and recent development experience with IBM Cognos TM1 Architect and Perspectives
2 years of development experience using IBM CAFE (Planning Analytics for Excel)
Success converting IBM Cognos TM1 Perspectives interfaces to CAFE (Planning Analytics for Excel)
Ability to model complex financial planning processes using IBM Cognos TM1
An understanding of the capability and use case for Planning Analytics Workspace
Ability to design, develop, create and test planning solutions
Can create, edit and troubleshoot SQL queries
Successful track record collaborating with product owners, product managers and business SMEs to ensure delivered solutions optimally support the achievement of business outcomes
The ability to train and develop in a Paired Programming environment
Intermediate PowerShell and Command Line scripting
Experience participating in multiple, complex projects, working with diverse teams in multiple locations
Previous experience working as part of an Agile Team
Ability to communicate verbally, in writing and via presentations effectively with a broad range of Technology and business counterparts
Previous experience with understanding and documenting of the flow of data ETL into planning applications
Experience with data modeling and data modeling tools preferred
Finance background is strongly preferred
Ability to pass a 7 year background investigation
