Description
Nike is looking for an expert Incident Response Technical Lead to take our program to the next level. The Incident Response Technical Lead will lead the team responsible for identifying, containing and resolving information security incidents at Nike. This position will be able to use and further develop a wide range of tools and data to perform the functions of the job across the global Nike enterprise. This includes: corporate, retail and direct to consumer systems; mobile devices; workstations; servers (Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems); networks; databases and data warehouses; cloud based/virtualized environments; Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions; and the Internet of Things (IoT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
This position will work closely with the Cyber Security Incident Coordinator and will assist in defining the scope, framework and procedures to facilitate security incident management. Further this position will be responsible for working with other Information Security staff to enhance or develop new security controls to proactively reduce further issues or provide enriched detective and reactive capabilities.
As the Technical lead, Nike will rely on your knowledge and expertise to mentor the team, identify new technologies and processes to develop an elite incident response program. Nike is aggressively pursuing many technology initiatives to deliver value to our customers and operate more efficiently and effectively. The Technical Lead works to develop and execute the vision of the Nike Director of Incident Response to ensure Nike can detect and respond in any current and future environment.
Successful Technical Experts at Nike lead with courage, are detail oriented, have exceptional organizational, written and verbal communication skills, are adept at remain calm and making good decisions under pressure, and a drive to enhance risk management at all levels.
Qualifications
Expert knowledge of incident response and crisis management with the ability to identify both tactical and strategic solutions using strong verbal and written communication skills
Minimum five years of security monitoring experience and incident response activities; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
Strong knowledge of incident response and crisis management with the ability to identify both tactical and strategic solutions using strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deliver pro-active cyber defense through threat hunting
Strong understanding of IP protocol suite
Adept in reading and understanding firewall access control lists
Proficiency with Windows, Mac OSX and Linux
Coding (scripting) experience e.g. PowerShell, Python, Ruby, C, Java, VB Scripting etc.
Malware analysis, virus exploitation and mitigation techniques experience.
Comfortable with interfacing with other internal or external organizations regarding security policy and standards violations, security controls failure and incident response situations
Understanding of network, desktop and server technologies, including experience with network intrusion methods, network containment, segregation techniques and technologies such as Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Protection Systems (IPS)
Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and quickly adapting to changing events; reprioritizing efforts and resources as needed
Leads diverse teams of both direct reports and matrixed support, though partnerships and collaboration
Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
Resolves problems independently and/or through a support team
Ability to balance and prioritize work
Must be trustworthy in keeping sensitive data confidential
Additional skills and qualifications preferred, but not required.
One or more of the following professional certifications
Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP)
Global Information Assurance Certifications (GIAC)
Education and ExperienceRequires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Five years of information technology experience with three years in an information security-related role
