We are seeking a Sr. Product Owner with proven experience working complex digital software products and platforms to help us accelerate this vision.As a Sr. Product Owner, you will bring together technology and process expertise to deliver solutions that enable Nike’s Innovation teams. You will act as the voice of the customer, capturing & prioritizing needed technical features, and ensuring they are executed according to the product vision.You’ll start by partnering with Sustainability and Technology team members to capture a set of holistic requirements. You'll then work alongside architecture and engineering to ensure the team designs and delivers an appropriate solution to the customer. With knowledge of both business and technical strategy and requirements, you’ll be a fundamental player who shapes the long-term roadmap.Fundamental elements of our work include:- Embed with Nike’s Sustainable Business and Innovation team- Facilitate conversations with key business leaders to understand the technology required to enable their future vision- Define business requirements & user stories- Manage backlog of business features- Communicate consistently and regularly with stakeholders to promote transparency into the technology roadmap and on-going technology releases- Partner with architecture and engineering teams to determine technical solution options that are in line with business needsRESPONSIBILITIES• Participate in scoping and defining solutions for business objectives using your knowledge and experience with product creation and digital technologies to identify the best solution and developing resource and cost estimates based on your experience• Drive the overall business and systems analysis with programs orreleases as assigned, working with other agile team members while also contributing individually to achieve results• Lead requirements sessions including use of interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, and using the system under analysis• Successfully elicit all forms of requirements (e.g. functional, performance, usability, compliance, regulatory, technical)• Identify impacts to business process and enterprise systems through impact analysis of new requirements and solution designs• Contribute/Lead the communication of requirements emerging from these new technologies and processes to Nike Technology teams supporting related platforms and systems.• Create key artifacts including use cases, user stories, functional specifications, security role matrices, user acceptance criteria, and configuration specifications• Develop a work plan and execute against the plan to meet all commitments• Collaborate with Project Managers and Product Managers to implement the agreed upon vision & help drive the future roadmaps.• Excellent oral and written communication & storytelling skills including meeting facilitation and development of persuasive presentations.QualificationsRequirements for the position include:• + 5 years software product management experience• Experience with Nike’s enterprise product creation systems preferred• Proven experience with complex digital products / projects• Proven ability to document requirements and manage multiple products and projects simultaneously• Demonstrated ability to dive deep to understand business users and product technology and related landscape• Ability to think and act creatively, methodically and strategically• Superior verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with core team, extended stakeholders and executive leadership• Must be organized, flexible & able to act independently, with ability to switch rapidly between different projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment• Is forward thinking and passionate about delivering a premium and innovative solution• Familiarity with Sustainability concepts and initiatives preferred NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
