DescriptionThe Nike Global Sales Team is seeking a VP, Global Category Integrated Marketplace to lead, connect and implement commercial business plans, encourage category vision, and accelerate profitable and sustainable growth across our global marketplace with our Direct and Wholesale partners. This role will also be responsible for partnering with the GEO category marketplace leads while also supporting, coaching, and inspiring global category leads across channels, marketplace operations, and the digital business.Responsibilities:Lead and develop an integrated global marketplace with both our Direct and Wholesale partners, leading with Nike.com.
Be the voice and representation of the commercial function within the category to co-create seasonal, annual, and 3-Year global marketplace growth strategies
Co-create consumer led concepts with category teams with an end-in-mind integrated marketplace vision. Identify & cultivate new sources of profitable, sustainable growth that can scale across the global marketplace, new products, new experiences, and new distribution
Lead the category distribution plan by catalyzing segmentation, channel strategies, and consumer mindset plans to grow and elevate the global marketplace
Lead the commercial functional in the Nike Consumer CODE process across critical dates and gates
Ensure commercial readiness, prepare for sell-in, and track order capture & review
Partner with GEOs to cultivate franchise and marketplace management using key indicators; order book, seasonal sell-through, markdown cadence, and inventory to take actions to drive overall marketplace health.
Create, communicate and maintain seasonal allocation strategy
Lead and inspire the next generation of Nike talent
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of directly relevant leadership experience in Business Strategy, Marketing, Sales
Excellent Retail, Financial, and Business Acumen
Experience with digital or physical retail, and/or digital platforms
Demonstrated ability with category orientation and marketplace management
Experience in supporting diverse teams to mentor and educates next gen team members while achieving shared team goals
Thorough ability to develop collaborative relationships across teams and functions to facilitate growth/results
Demonstrated ability to set and implement groundbreaking strategies
Demonstrated ability to synthesize and take action against business results, trends, and opportunities
