DescriptionNIKE's Valiant Labs was created to drive disruptive new businesses that serve emerging athlete* needs. Entrepreneurial in spirit and approach, this type of innovation requires us to think and work differently, quickly generating new ideas and validating their potentialNIKE's Valiant Labs is currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to help our human capital and culture strategies as the Lab grows and matures. Ideally someone who has developed, run, tested, modified, and re-run lean innovation talent and culture models. The selected candidate will bring proven leadership skills, business insights, enterprise thinking, and influencing capability to guide the development of a dynamic and growing digital focus at Nike.Key Responsibilities: Provide and glean insights through benchmarking approaches and best of class practices in the start-up space
Build and optimize an organizational design that will unlock the people potential of the Valiant Lab and attract the world’s best talent
Create and implement processes that enable the Valiant Lab to deliver on our objectives
Design and build an optimal total rewards model to engage and incentivize Valiant Lab outcomes
Act as the interface to Nike, Inc. HR team to create synergies and ensure alignment with current people and talent strategy
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, HR, Behavioral Sciences or related field or an additional 2 years' experience in lieu of a degree
8+ years' experience across core consultative and administrative areas of HR including Organizational Capability and Planning, Talent Management & Development, Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion, Compensation and Total Rewards and Infrastructure
Well-developed Business Acumen and proven enterprise thinking
Excellent communication and presentation skills; with outstanding ability to collaborate and influence internal and external stakeholders, particularly executive management
Strong leader with experience working in startups, VC’s, accelerators and/or incubators.
Knowledgeable of leading concepts and practices in human capital strategies and total rewards models that enable lean innovation & a portfolio of startups to thrive
Ability to cut through complexity whilst delivering practical and pragmatic approaches to a dynamic work environment
A proven record of connecting business challenges with creative and transformative solutions
Flexible and adaptable to change in a fast-moving organization
Available to travel 10%
