As User Research & Insights Lead, you will report to the Sr Director of SEC User Experience and will be the voice of the employee driving next generation user experience. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSLead execution of employee persona identification and research
Lead understanding our employees, their behavior, and motivations.
Contribute to overall employee experience vision across multiple tools and platforms
Contribute to improving user/employee research capabilities to support an amplified and cohesive experience
Contribute future thinking and skills to identify and select emerging industry disruptors to improve experience
Assist to drive governance models around user research and user validation
Partner with functional business leads, designers, TM, communications, and others
Lead the persona journey and improvement of the various aspects of experience
Lead Qualitative and Quantitative analysis techniques to improve user experience
Lead UX validation approaches that conform to the constraints of established third-party software applications and tools as well as completely custom built software implementations
Function as a team player who contributes in a model where employees are valued not only for their depth of knowledge but their willingness to participate in a breadth of work to support the overall team Develop user sentiment measurement strategies including evaluating poll and survey platforms/tools for implementation across various internally-facing solutions
Author user study questionnaires, polling questions, and candidate screeners to guide selection and solicitation of relevant feedback on software solutions. 
Design and facilitate stakeholder workshops to surface user needs, pain points and collect requirements for various employee experience solutions
Analyze user feedback from a variety of qualitative and quantitative sources to synthesize themes and insights with recommendations to respond to user needs
Build compelling presentations of user analysis to inform and persuade peers and leadership across the Nike organization
Continuously research and report on industry best practices for user studies including software and hardware-based tools to make purchase and adoption recommendations for team and organization-wide 
Lead workshops to educate and build team skills in the subjects of user analytics and data interpretation to empower teams to self-direct measurement planning and self-serve analysis of collected information

Comprehend multiple device types and contexts (desktop, tablet, mobile)
Experience defining and monitoring success through analytics/metrics 
Good influencing and communication skillset to educate leadership and delivery teams on the value and benefits of experience measurement
Excellent people-skills and communication abilities to lead collaborative efforts including workshops and design sessions with various stakeholders
Strong technical mindset to bridge communications with front-end developers and designers regarding measurement and validation requirements
Background in traditional marketing demand-generation and conversion strategies and analysis
Experience utilizing quantitative and qualitative measurement tools such as eye-tracking, click-heatmapping, navigation funnels, Adobe Analytics, Qualtrics, ExactTarget, Campaign Monitor and other platforms
Ability to inform design requirements for rapid prototypes utilized in feedback and user study sessions
Project effort, cost and value estimation ability to inform roadmap planning
Strong documentation ability to author guidelines, requirement documentation, user flows and other related project planning artifacts
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree
Minimum 5 years-total experience in user insights and user research
Formal training in UX/EX, HCI, Design or CS.
Demonstrated success in cross-functional integration/relationships and program execution
Agile project experience
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization
Demonstration of strong influencing skill
ERP experience a plus
