We bring together technology and process expertise to deliver scalable and reliable technology solutions that enable the design and development of Nike, Inc.’s core products.YOUR ROLE ON THE TEAMThe Senior Quality Engineer partners with Engineering Leads, Quality Leads, Performance Leads, and Agile Product Teams to manage end-to-end integration testing for Product Engine Solutions (PES) software release packages. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in working with Agile Teams to identify code improvements and leverage points to reduce cycle-time. The Senior Quality Engineer will create partnerships with Product Owners / Managers to manage joint backlogs for test automation and code coverage toolsets. Finally, the Engineer will lead the implementation of SonarCube and a framework for test script management.SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES•Continuously obsess the PES end-to-end integration testing in the role of Integration Testing Product Owner•Develop and socialize quality metrics and supporting reporting for measuring progress against aligned quality goals.•Coordinate defect triage collaboration across Agile Product Teams•Provide expert recommendations on code defects and/or static code analysis from tools such as HP Fortify and SonarCube•Establish and manage joint test automation backlog with Product Owners / Managers•Support the Quality Assurance continuous improvement maturity modelQualifications•BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent relevant experience•Experience in test automation engineering•Experience developing, delivering, and operating modern cloud platforms / large scale distributed systems•Experience working in Agile teams and project teams•Capability to develop technology professionals with high expectations, a collaborative style and a focus on continuous improvement, quality and planning•Strong skills in team leadership and building positive customer relationships•Proven track record of success in fast-moving organizations with complex technology applications•Experience leading QA for a multi-tiered, high availability environment.•Knowledge and/or experience in pattern-based development/implementation•Expertise in implementing automated testing NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
