Your Role on the TeamAs a member of the Strategy and Information Management Solutions team within Enterprise Data & Analytics you will be a key member of a highly visible team focused on collaborating with business, operations, and technical teams to drive the maturity of information management capabilities for end to end planning data to enable Nike business functions to meet their strategic objectives.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS•Business and Technology primary point of contact for Information Management capabilities •Develop and share the central data and information management strategies to help drive enterprise data frameworks to the business for translation and adoption•Provides input into the ongoing maturation of Enterprise Data Frameworks •Develop subject matter expertise in planning data and act as a connection point to lead end to end thinking on the data subject area•First line of defense on data issues and be “hands-on” in resolution; business process change or facilitating technology changes in partnership with the Enterprise Data and Analytics (ED&A) teams and technology teams•Consult with appropriate Functional owners and ED&A teams on Master Data requirements •Partner with Enterprise Information Leaders and Information Architects to define domains through information models leading towards aligned data definitions (e.g. Term Alignment)•Work cross-functionally, across programs, and lead small teams to define requirements on high priority Nike initiatives•Engages with business leaders and information architecture to provide strategy and thought leadership while supporting data stewards and owners on managing their information landscapes•Understand high level information flow for enterprise and functional master data•Investigative analysis on functional pain points (process and system gaps)•Use data to quantify pain points, develop business cases, and tell the story to Enterprise Data leadership COMPETENCIES•Effective Communicator•Strategic Thinker•Strong Leadership Identity •Data Analysis•Information Management (DQ, DG, MDM)•Results oriented•Tactical ExecutionQualifications•A Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business, Information Technology or related field•7+ years’ experience in data analysis across systems and processes or similar experience in the Business Intelligence space; should include comprehensive experience as a business/process lead or as a lead in a functional role•Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing demands•Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)•Strong presentation, facilitation and influencing skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization•Proven experience building strong working relationships and working successfully in cross-functional teams•Passion for data and governance with demonstrated ability to use data to tell a story and influence decision making•Detail oriented with strong information seeking skills•Great listening skills and openness to different points of view•Self-motivated and collaborative with ability to resolve conflict•Good analytical and problem solving skills•Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint•Experience working with Analytics and Data Visualization tools (e.g. Cognos, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Tableau) is preferred•Good working knowledge of data architecture and database structure NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
