Your Role on the TeamAs the Director of Information Management Solutions, you will be a leader in the Strategy and Information Management Solutions team within Enterprise Data & Analytics. This leadership position is a key member of a highly visible team focused on collaborating with business, operations, and technical teams to drive the strategy and maturity of information management capabilities focused on Master Data Management, Structured and Unstructured Data usage, machine learning capabilities, metadata and reference data to enable Nike to meet its strategic objectives.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS•Lead a team of experienced resources to develop strategies, business cases, use cases, and requirements for Master Data Management, Reference, Metadata, and Data Quality. •Oversee the information management solution delivery process from requirements to implementation and support to ensure alignment to objectives and transition success. •Develop and maintain effective leadership and stakeholder relationships across the organization and be the leader with authority, responsibility and accountability to translate business needs into information.•Define information management solutions that manage and influence enterprise data quality on operational systems through the application of recurring certification of enterprise data assets and the reporting of data asset health.•Partner with Enterprise Data Governance to establish data controls that measure master, functional and reference data for compliance to data quality standards, policy and conceptual models. •Hire/build top talent to support the data needs of a consumer-facing organization and foster an environment that is destination for high performers •Institute a programmatic approach to innovate and expand the organization's operating models to continuously evolve Nike’s information management practices through partnership with business, operations, and technology teams. •Identify new kinds, types and sources of data to drive business innovation throughout the organization and define processes for the effective, integrated introduction of new data•Work with enterprise data analytics, enterprise data governance, enterprise architecture, and technology teams to shape the capability and vision of information management solutions, be an evangelist for information management services provided by the enterprise.•Refine and expand the mission for Information Management Solutions, gaining buy in from leadership and cross-functional partners through clearly demonstrated value of data driven decision making•Establish and enhance enterprise data roadmap, guide data strategy and prioritization with senior leadership, collaborate with key business stakeholders, and lead a team of business and technical resources to deliver enterprise data•Demonstrate exceptional prioritization and resourcing skills to maximize output from a high-performing teamCOMPETENCIES•Effective Communicator•Strategic Thinker•Strong Leadership Identity •Data Analysis•Information Management (DQ, DG, MDM)•Results oriented•Tactical Execution•Business case development and refinementQualifications•Deep expertise and 10+ years of experience in Data Governance, Master Data Management, and Data Management disciplines•Proven data literacy — the ability to describe business use cases/outcomes, data sources and management concepts, and analytical approaches/options.•Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts and getting things done through others not directly under his/her supervision•Superlative people management skills with ability to recruit high performing talent and demonstrated leadership / proven track record of leading complex, multidisciplinary talent teams in new endeavors •Good understanding of related advanced/new technologies, which could be leveraged to enhance current capabilities and build durable new ones•Consistently thinks and acts “ahead of the curve;” by effectively responding with urgency to immediate opportunities•Advanced ability to adapt to change, handle pressure, and adjust plans to meet changing needs, and solve problems creatively NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
