DescriptionAs our CNC Operator, you’ll work with our talented mold and tooling team in the overall set-up and operation of CNC machines. You’ll prepare material and tooling following set-up sheets and verbal instructions, as well as follow detailed set-up sheets to program CNC machines for the production of precision molds and tooling used in our plastics manufacturing. You’ll use a variety of hand tools, saws, drill presses, lathes, and manual mills to perform manual machining, in addition to monitoring the CNC machines for proper operation and to ensure a quality product.D2 Shift: Friday through Sunday with every other Monday 5:30am - 5:30pm.Qualifications•High School Diploma/GED or equivalent•2 years of work experience in the set-up and operation of CNC machines (via set-up sheets)•Basic understanding of Fanuc G-codes•Ability to use common machine tools, such as band saws, vertical saws, drill presses, pedestal grinders, basic hand tools, and measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers•Experience operating a lathe and manual mill preferred•Ability to lift and move tools and molds up to 30 pounds•Ability to meet physical requirements of stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, pushing, hearing, reaching, and movement around work areas to accomplish job tasks•Strong verbal and written communication skills•Demonstrated ability to convey ideas and solutions to machining changes•Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities and projects•Strong attention to detail NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
